What Is It?
MOD+ designs and manufactures a high-end, versatile line of user-friendly, modular Light Columns and customizable accessories that have been used in nearly every kind of live event since 2005 - from tradeshows to television to public spaces to weddings. Its simple, elegant design and modularity makes it an elegant stand-alone piece or the building block of a larger display. It is ideal for indoor or outdoor use.

A MOD+ Light Column is a simple, internally lit structure standing 12’ high at your event. It can be used as is or with any combination of MOD+ accessories and can be modified in many instances to integrate 3rd party external display items - the possibilities are endless.

The Basic Structure
The basic structure is a durable, high-end, polished aluminum column with translucent panes for graphics or designs, and an internal light source. The panes can be anything you want them to be: a written message, a logo, a pattern, or a translucent surface of sheen, colored light. Shocking and bold or classy and refined - it’s your choice.

The Column is 12’ tall, 22” x 22” wide, stands upright and requires no structural support. It may stand alone or link easily and securely to other columns or structures via a specifically designed channel and mounting system running the length of the frame.

A MOD+ Light Column is always a light source, with built-in windows supporting translucent panes for color washes or graphic messaging, and an internal base that has been engineered to accept a variety of standard lighting instruments to provide any number of colors and intensities. If you want a clear panel softening a cool blue light, you can do it. If you want a bold logo pattern stretching twelve feet above your floor, you can do it. Simply choose or design your panel, put a light in the column, and turn it on.

The modularity of the unit also allows it to be combined with other units or accessories so that it may be turned into a table, a bar, a wall, shelving, a larger sign, and much else. In other words, a MOD+ Light Column may be dressed up or dressed down.

The Windows
Each basic column has built-in “windows” running the column’s length. The window panes house pane inserts that can be anything you want them to be. Panes can be logos, artwork, floor directions, or elegant, content-free light sources. You can choose from MOD+ pre-designed patterns, you can provide the artwork yourself, or you can work with the MOD+ team of designers to bring the best ideas to fruition.

Because the light source is within the column, you can control the intensity and the direction of the light. Are you tired of shadows on your floor? Light it from the bottom. Do you want your message to shine out above the crowd? Light it from the top. The possibilities go on and on.

There are three options for your panes
1. Translucent color panes. Ideal when used to provide an elegant light source or to conceal ugly structural elements at your venue. Without adding graphics, the columns light up beautifully. They make a strong architectural statement and may provide all the light your event will need.

2. Pre-designed, die-cut, patterned panes. Several colors and patterns available. Designed by MOD+, these are ideal for after parties or night club type events.

3. Custom-designed panes with text and/or graphic. “Aisle 12,” “Breakfast of Champions,” “Introducing...,” or a pattern of your company’s logos or partner companies - you can design anything you want. The appearance of your branding and messaging, internally lit on a MOD+ Column is stunning and crisp. Your graphics teams can design these panels or you can work with the MOD+ creative team.

Accessories
Pre-designed accessories available are The Shelf , The Lampshade, The Metal Band, The Wood Band and Wall and Header Panels as well as cabinetry and curtains.These vertical and horizontal architectural details can further customize your MOD+ Light Column and can be used to create shelving, a bar, a product rack or an entire custom display booth.
